Software Support

If your business has had its software for the last five years or longer chances are your software and business are now tailored to each other.  If you are dissatisfied with the performance of your current software vendor, or they can't seem to take your system to that next step, we can help.

Curtis Martin Group's programmers are capable of programming specific stand alone software modules or applications.  Our forte is establishing relationships with customers who have older, legacy, text based software and maintaining and improving those applications.

We have replaced old legacy modules such as General Ledger, with modern third party packages.  Using Visual Basic we can also implement a GUI or windows interface on older software, so you can use PCs as terminals.

We take pride in the fact that we are able to come in and pick up or learn your custom software, and program "seamless" modifications to them, with a minimum of learning curve.

Software Conversions

Curtis Martin Group has extensive experience in conversions.

  • We can convert your software to run in newer versions of the language it was written in.
  • In Business Basic we can convert your software to run in a different vendor's basic. (BBx, Providex, Open or Thoroughbred)
  • We can convert your software to enable it to run on new or different hardware.
  • We can also convert your existing data to run in a new third party software application.
